For the third week in a row, my game of the week happens to feature the Edmonton Eskimos. The Bombers lost two defensive starters to injuries this past week and have shuffled their secondary around so that many are playing out of position. This will no doubt help a struggling Eskimo offense that lost one of their better receivers (Bowman) for the year and will be pulling out all the stops to impress the home crowd after their awful performance in Saskatchewan on Sunday. The Bombers offense really came to life against Montreal and figures to get better as the season goes along. Their kick return unit has been providing excellent field position and are a scoring threat as well. This is their third of four games on the road to begin the season and with a short week coming up before the next game (in Toronto), a sense of urgency has to be creeping in which should make this an interesting game to watch. The Esks are (-1) and the total on this game is (45), which is quite low for this league. I expect both offenses to make some big plays in what figures to be a tight game.
